In industrial carts, there tends to be a pronounced lack of a suspension system for the caster wheels. This means that in applications in which such carts are used to transport heavy loads across distances over rough terrain, the following occur:The loads get jostled around, potentially getting damaged in the process.The vibrations get transmitted through the rigid body of the cart to the operator’s hands, causing temporary discomfort to the operator in the short term, and fatigue in the long run.My solution is a passive suspension system that utilises an integrated spring assembly to counter the effects of vibration on the industrial cart and its operator.
