You can have multiple configurations with different lengths and turns. You can set number of turns to low number for less detail but correct size. Easy to mate with cylindrical features at one end.

alternate version uploaded to remove "solid spring extrude" and correct equations when this is removed.

Error in equations, looks like a sketch got left out called "Solid Spring" causing model to fail!
